In The Seven Woods Project

In April of 2024, I began a residency at Hyde Bridge Gallery, situated within the Sligo Yeats Building and introduced to a room that was going to be my studio for the next six months.
The building was built during the 1890’s and has that beautiful Arts and Crafts style architecture throughout. It was formally a bank but I’m delighted it’s used to house art and literature today.
Much of my style is inspired by 1960s design which in itself was inspired by Art Nouveau and the Arts and Craft Movement, so I loved how much the style of my patterns and the architecture of the building complimented each other.
